STEED is an Alkmaar band with a Liverpool accent. The British influence is everywhere in both its style and sound. With flavours of The Jam, Blur, Supergrass and Curtis Mayfield, the result is a sharp poprock sound with an honest edge. Their debut album ‘A Curious Case Of Countless Clues’ (2010) was praised in the local media. The surprising additions of soulful horns, combined with the vintage sound of the Philicorda, completes the atmosphere of the songs into a tasteful whole. Successful supporting roles for among others Moke, The Madd, Bettie Serveert and The Customs means that STEED are now ready for the general public. The band recently self published and released their second album produced by French Hagenaars in 2013 titled "Tomorrow's never ending" where "Rollercoaster" has been released as a first single along with a music video (attached to the profile).
