Profil personnel

I own Bongo Beat Records. I have worked for Nettwerk, EMI, Warner, Attic Records both as domestic roster manager and international manager. As a musician (RALPH); I have released 5 cds and performed in the USA, Canada, Paris, London, Liverpool, Rome, Venice, etc etc. As a designer, I have created packages for Sony, Warner, Nettwerk, EMI, C/Z, Pacemaker, Bullseye Canada, etc. As a writer; I published a pop culture zine (RALPH Coffee Jazz and Poetry) for over 10 years that is now compiled in two books. As a music journalist and photographer, my work has appeared in NY Rocker, Bomp, Cheap Thrills, Roxy, Goldmine, Kicks, and many many other publications.

In the USA, also available through Baker and Taylor and all similar sub-distributors. We are also a book publisher and our first book, Treat Me Like Dirt (An Oral History of Toronto Punk & Beyond 1977-1981) is now in its third printing. Our focus on the label is always strong writers and artists exploring new areas. We are not constrained by any one genre and that is both a blessing and a problem for those who would like to easily pigeon-hole us.
