The song describes a feeling which remains after a beautiful dream, although one can no longer commemorated exactly the dream itself. But the feeling afterwards is definitely good. On the other hand it could also describe a real, beautiful story that has happened to the interpreter and it appears like a dream. But he knows that it will never happen again.
