The prize of the German Rock and Pop Award in the category "Best Newcomer Punk Band Deutschland 2013" was a confirmation of their intensive and meticulous live and studio work. Although the distinction in the genre Punk only partly satisfies the musical qualities of the four guys. Because the songs do not only work when they are presented by the band in the fat electric guitar sound, but also unfold as a ballads with simple guitar accompaniment. No wonder, therefore, that MAX also conquered the audience as a support for the cabaret artist Christian Springer. Or even with their complete acoustic program before the performance of Konstantin Wecker, Chris Böttcher and Werner Schneyder convinced concertgoers, which one would not guess at a rock or punk gig. One thing is clear: the baroque hall matches the versatile songs as well as the backstage in Munich. Catchy melodies are arranged by the composer and lyricist Maximilian Wagner in a refined manner and presented together with the Sologitarristen Lukas Wolf two-part. Drummer Fabian Wolf takes care of the driving groove or accompanies gently and emotionally on the Cajon. The catchy and time-critical lyrics of the band perfectly complement these moods. But in this respect, let us let an old master of poetry and cabaret speak. Werner Schneyder (to Maximilian Wagner): "My colleague, they have a very good feeling for the German language".
