Broken Bossa meets visual art San Ima is a band between cultures. A Brazilian singer gathers in Berlin three musicians from different backgrounds. An experimental VJ joins the project. The outcome is a trialogue between Brazilian lyrics, broken rhythms and dreamy images. San Ima calls it Broken Bossa. San Ima – that stands for “the Saint of Now” – is a performance of crossing bridges. How does it taste a cocktail of brazilian music and technology in a globalized landscape?
