A native of Connecticut, USA started her career in the German music industry as professional manager for UFA Music Publishing in 1971, followed by Global Musikverlag before founding the tipsheet "Songs Wanted" in 1986. In addition, she worked as a correspondent for "Billboard" magazine for twelve years and conducted singer/songwriter showcases in Munich, Hamburg and Berlin for five years.
