Alisa Wessel, born in 1973, started her career with a commercial education at the CD manufacturer PolyGram in Hanover. During the following years she expanded her skills by working for companies like Deutsche Grammophon, Polydor/Universal Music (Hamburg), Global Chrysalis Music Publishing(Munich) and BMG Rights Management (Berlin). Her responsibilities included public relations, commercial and organizational projects as well as copyright and royalty Management. For these companies she has, among others, worked with Udo Lindenberg, Rosenstolz, Stefan Waggershausen, Andrea Bocelli, Ronan Keating, Till Bronner, Don Grusin, Konstantin Wecker, Hämatom, Emil Bulls, Randale, Asaf Avidan, Roberto Di Gioia, Sebastian Studnitzky and many other artists. Since 2013, Alisa Wessel is heading the "Service Bureau for Songwriters & Artists" in Berlin, which offers administrative and consulting services for music creators on transparent conditions. By continually updated knowledge and its thorough implementation the royalty income gets optimized. The type of cooperation with each client is individually designed. Both established artists and newcomers appreciate it not having to deal with bureaucratic requirements, but to be able to by individual service modules as needed, without having to assign any rights. Alternatively, there is also the possibility of a traditional writers contract with the newly formed publishing company Alisa Wessel Musikverlag. Since 2014 Alisa Wessel is also an instructor with workshops on "GEMA practical knowledge" at the Music Pool Berlin. The Service Bureau for Songwriters & Artists is a member of the Berlin Music Commission. The publishing company Alisa Wessel Musikverlag is a member of GEMA, SUISA and the German Music Publishers' Association (DMV) .
