Extraordinary Electronic-Alternative from Germany's north The Crystal Apes are Tia and Tom from Hamburg, Germany, founded in 2007/2008. It is a music project through which Tia started to release her musical and artistic works back in the times of MySpace. Her deep atmospheric vocals and sometimes cinematic sound crosses the borders between Electronic and Alternative. Fusing electronic lines, acoustic drums, guitars and sometimes cinematic orchestral parts she creates her very own style which is pretty unusual for a German music project/band from the north.
