Walter's talent got into shape with 9 years of classical guitar training, one year at Musician's Institute (Los Angeles) and four years at one of Germany's best Music Universities (Stuttgart). He graduated both with excellent results. In 2006 first fruits started to fall off when some of Walter's songs got released as a CD-title track in the U.S. Striking lyrics, blended with Jazz-sounds and the simplicity and power of rock rhythms got acknowledged through several releases on the Sony/BMG/Provident label "Galilee of the Nations". Walter also recorded three instrumental albums combining acoustic guitar sounds with modern grooves. They're distributed by ASAPH in Germany, and cdbaby.com+itunes worldwide. One of those titles got released on a Warner (Europe) wellness CD. So far he produced 8 albums for a Christian band, distributed in Germany by ASAPH. Walter was music director for 15 years in an international church. Of his 80+ songs many got translated into several languages and sung in churches in the United States, Latin America, Greece and Belarus. He transcribed hundreds of songs for music books, translated lyrics for publishing companies in the USA and Germany. He's a staff member of the Worship Academy and has written and produced the teaching-DVD "Acoustic guitar basics" in German language that got sold over 2000 times. Walter is working as chosen engraver for CCLI Germany on their songselect project and works as a representative for the Roland/Boss company in Germany. During the last 7 years he has successfully placed over 300 tracks in several music-libraries in the US, GB and Germany and has had placements in well known shows like "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and "Dr. Oz" etc.
