個人簡介

Nihaarika Sinha has an M.Com. degree from the University of Mumbai (Bombay) and a Vishaarad (Bachelor’s) degree from the Bhatkhande Institute of Music, Lucknow, in Hindustani vocal music. She has trained in ghazal singing with the famous ghazal singer, Shobha Gurtu and has had training in film singing from the eminent Bollywood music director Kalyanjibhai of the Kalyanji-Anandji music director duo. Presently she is undergoing voice training from Pandit Satyanarayan Mishra and Bhavdeep Jaipurwale and bhajan singing from Shri Anup Jalota . She is currently working towards a Ph.D. in the socio-cultural context of Bollywood film music. She has given performances in light classical music, has sung for television serials and has done recordings for cover versions of Bollywood songs. Nihaarika also works as an Executive with a leading airline.
