Personal profile
Shyam started early in his life playing Carnatic music in Harmonium and switched on as a keyboard player. And after having done 8th grade in Western Theory (teacher: Paul Augustin), has turned out as an Pianist. Apart from theoretical knowledge of western music, Shyam believes in attempting different styles, such as Carnatic, Jazz, and World Music. He has performed with numerous world music Bands like Zaharra , Olodum,Yodhaka, Zing and his shows for Ganesh - Kumaresh, Sunitha Sarathy and Kieth peters, show his ability to adapt to such different styles of music. Shyam is also a composer and has an instrumental album, 5 short Films and a couple of Radio jingles to his credit.
