The South Asian, East African, Oklahoma, raised singer songwriter and a once Brooklyn staple started out as a child blowin’ on the saxophone. She now calls the shores of Santa Monica California home. Since then she has rapped at Carnegie Hall, made her milkshake bring all the boys to the yard on the SNL soundstage, brought Miami’s Art Basel to their knees, fronted the rock band Jungli, playing just about every rock and roll hole in the wall and bougeouis venue NYC has to offer. Tasneem has also performed to benefit the likes of Amnesty International,Your Dil, a charity which aims to fight illiteracy in Pakistan, Artwallah and Healing Innovations an organization that raises awareness about AIDS globally.
