Gandhaar, a 22 year-old lad is an established name in the Pune music circle. His musical knowledge and abilities have left audiences stunned every single time he has climbed the stage. He has composed music for many experimental as well as commercial plays, advertisement jingles, and short films. He has been active on the Marathi Theatre scene for the last 5 years. “Geli 21 Varsha”, a play that he composed music for, has been selected for International Theatre Festivals in Italy. One of his short films, “Hungry God”, has been screened at many International Film Festivals. He himself composes and also does the programming of his own songs. He has got formal training in Sitar, from Pt. Shekhar Ranade, a disciple of Sitar Maestro Ustad Shahid Parvez. Gandhaar’s theory on Guitar Chords made simple with the help of Hindustani Classical Music is a contribution to the music world, which very few people know. He has won many awards and accolades
