Girish Pradhan (Gangtok) has been in various Rock bands as a lead vocalist in Sikkim, Delhi and Nepal, namely, Anarchy(Gangtok), Mukti(Namchi), The Revolving Barrel(Gangtok/Kathmandu, 1st runners up of THE NORTH EASTERN ROCKERS - 2008), Lazy Fingers (Delhi), Emergency (Nepal), also a temporary band comprisng of members namely Sharad (Guitars) from Axe Band (Nepal) and Sanam (Drums) from The new revolution (Nepal). With an experience in performing full time gigs in the most reputed and popular pubs/bars in Kathmandu like Sisha, Lasha, Reggae, Pop in, FnB, Tamas, Jatra, Namaste and Moksh; he quickly became a well known name in the Pub rock scene there. He also bagged the Best Vocalist awards in: 1. IIT Guwahati Rock o Phonix 2010 2. Sinchisis fest, Guwahati Medical College, 2010 3. Pyrokinesis fest, Assam Engineering College, 2010 4. Outlawed fest , West Bengal National University of Juridical sciences, Kolkata 2010. He has also done his time with various rock bands such as Cobweb (Nepal) and Strings (Nepal) . Performed with the band "SILVER TEARS" in the Wakken Metal fest finals auditions, held at Kyra Bangalore. Besides performing some memorable gigs at Bennigans (PVR Saket, Delhi) he also has an expirience as a vocals instructor in a music school named CHANT O' CHORDS, in Gurgaon. - Formed in 18th of october, 2009, comprising of the finest musicians, the band immediately started playing in Cafe Live and Loud, Gangtok, Sikkim and are now an integral part of the pub rock culture in North Eastern India. - Their first concert was on 13th, November, 2009 a friday night , at Jorethang, along with another artist in the event Lou Majau. The event was Sikkim Area Convention Narcotics Anonymous III . It turned out to be a memorable one. - They performed @ Denzong Regency , Gangtok, on the new year's eve. - Performed @ P.N.G Rock ! 2008 . - The same set, with a different band name "Revolving Barrel", bagged the 1st Runners up @ North Eastern Rockers Competition 2008, held at Gangtok, Sikkim . - winners of Sinchisis fest 2010, Guwahati Medical College. - winners of Pyrokinesis fest 2010, Assam engineering College. - winners of Srijan fest, Avalanche, 2010, ISMU Dhanbad. - bagged the 3rd position in IIT Guwahati, Rock o Phonix 2010 . - Their original composition " Angel " has been featured in TNT Magazine's Great North Eastern Rock Compilation. - They have performed in 'Some Place Else', Park hotel, Kolkata, (10th of march 2010) along with 'Hip Pockets' - Were a part of Gangtok Pub fest along with BREATHE (UK), Paikrama, Mantra and Route 66, held in March 2010 @ Cafe Live and Loud. - Headlined Jorhat Engineering College, Assam, Fest on 26th of March 2010, along with 'Lucid Reccess'. - Headlined Birla institute of Tecnology , Patna, Bihar, Rock fest on 28th of March, 2010. - Won Eclecia Fest @ Heritage college, Kolkata on 10th of April, 2010. - Performed at the Moulali Yuva kendra on 5th of May for the cause of Saving Tigers - Won the auditions out of 8 states in the Northeast, of "Suncane scale international fest, 2010, Montenegro" held at Shilpgram, Guwahati in the last week of April. -Have performed at "Jumping Beans" , Dimapur on 9th of may/june. -Played and were telecasted live, nationally on the NE channel and Door Darshan at the Rabindra Bhawan, on 27th of June, 2010 -Angel's Angel was selected for Suncane Scale international fest, 2010, Montenegro , making the band and its song internationally accepted. -Were the 1st runners up at the "Suncane Scale international fest, 2010, Montenegro", Held at Montenegro, Europe , on 9th of July, 2010, with European media coverage . -Performed at The Guwahati Club on 4th of September(Headlining) -Performed at Blues, Guwahati on 5th of September for rockarolla events (Headlining) -Performed at Diphu, Assam on 4th of November as a guest band in the prestigious KARBI ANGLONG BEATS festival. -Performed in the Cherrapunjee Indigenious festival on 9th of December. -Performed at in TANGO Club, Shillong on the 12th of November, 2010. - Girish performed with the band "SILVER TEARS" in the Wakken Metal fest finals auditions, held at Kyra Bangalore -Performed at Blues, Guwahati on 25th of December at the spirit underground rock night. -Performed at the "Monsam" fest held in Diphu on 27th of December -Performed in the WOW!
