Cobbled Street was formed on 11 May 2010 by the three singers of the group, who came together after meeting at Artistes Unlimited, New Delhi. The idea was essentially to form an A capella group, however a consensus was reached to experiment with different kinds of sound without actually limiting ourselves to one particular genre. Our first song, Cobbled Street, which is also the name of our group, was recorded within 3-4 sessions, the first session being the first time we ever met as a group. Having recorded this song with a combined effort and as a group, we realized that we must take this forward, and now our search for a drummer and bass player is on, after which we intend to go live.
