The Red Ant is a band-style rock, with influences from grunge, and appear officially in 2009, in his first live concert in the summer festival Byonritmos, opening the main day of the festival known for Kussondulola. The band members are all old acquaintances, some because they studied together in school, others because they shared the stage in previous musical projects. You could say that the band have been starting around November 2008, about six months before the official debut. The initial formation, counted with the participation of bassist Mauro Sousa and Mane Reis who left the band in 2011 for personal reasons. In the same segment, go to the "tingling" Fabio as vocalist and Bruno Cardoso on bass, which is replaced shortly afterwards by Renato Ribeiro. Currently band consists on four elements. Fabio as lead vocals, lead guitarist Peres and second voices, Vasco on drums and Renato as bassist.
