Persönliches Profil

CEO/President: Sheila A. Adkins brings twenty years of music industry experience to her clients. Adkins came into the industry as an intern to producer T. Life at a time when he was enjoying the success of Evelyn “Champagne” King. From there she went to the Black Music Association. The next and only step was the formation of Xclusive Management, her first venture into artist management. As Xclusive she enjoyed much success and obtained 15 gold and platinum certifications through her clients, writers, and producers. Then came Adkins Management, Inc a re-vamped, re-organized and more diverse management company. Not only did Adkins offer creative management, but she now offered corporate management. “Management is the same no matter what the arena,” stated Adkins. Adkiins Management ventured into management of small businesses and assisted them in the areas of preparing and presenting bids on City contracts. This eventually led to Adkins becoming one of those contractors, five years ago, and to this day still going strong. One might ask what does contracting have to do with music? Nothing, but as Adkins puts’ it; music is what I do, what I am, what I live for. All of the other things that I do allow me to do music, so it’s all good.” The next natural move was to expand further into music and start a label. Thus 2HOT ENTERTAINMENT was born. “I have been signing artists, doing demos and shopping them for ten years, it was inevitable that I would someday be the label.”
