Classically-trained pianist, composer, songwriter, lyricist, and music educator with over 35 years of teaching and performing experience; loves to compose, particularly hit songs encompassing the following genres: Blues, Jazz, Gospel (Traditional and Contemporary), Country, R&B, Pop, Dance, and all the crossover/hybrid genres; influences include the late great Prince Rogers Nelson, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Barry White, William "Smokey" Robinson, the late great Maurice White of Earth, Wind, and Fire, the Beatles (individually AND as a group), Hank Williams, Mary Chapin Carpenter, the Eagles, Rogers and Hammerstein, Carole King, Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, and Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds...just to name a few...
