Το προφίλ μου

I am an attorney with the law firm of Oaks, Hartline & Daly, LLP. I specialize in music law and estate planning for musicians. We represent a number of notable artists (including GRAMMY-winners), music businesses, studios, venues, record labels, and even reality-tv stars. Before deciding to transition into the industry side of music I was a performing musician. I got my first job as a vocalist at age 10 performing on children's motivational cassettes (and later CDs!) and practically living in recording studios for 4 years. I also am trained in classical piano and played electric bass in a touring ska band for 6 years. Occasionally I'll still dabble in background vocals or perform as a studio musician for old band members, but I've realized that my forte is helping musicians navigate the business side of the industry - a skill I would have never refined had I not gained the knowledge and experience from performing.

The Entertainment Law Practice of Oaks, Hartline & Daly, LLP, borrowing on the expertise of OHD as a whole, represents and advises clients (including GRAMMY-winning artists, record labels, recording studios, managers, producers and agents) on all aspects of the music industry, including copyright, trademark, contract, business formation, licensing, management, production, publishing, touring, recording, “do it yourself” business models, tax and estate planning for musicians.
