Quark is a collaboration between singer-guitarist Fiona Tozer and bassist Dan Wilson. These two musicians from diverse musical backgrounds have been fusing the different elements of their musical experience Always aiming for the unexpected, the eclectic mix focuses on poly-rhythms, unusual time signatures and chord progressions, and features bass, guitar and voice. Their live performance incorporates loops created from guitar or bass riffs. The intricately arranged music ranges from meditative to rocky, with a bit of jazz and funk thrown in for good measure. Fiona's vocal melody lines draw the listener in, while Dan's bass scat vocals add another dimension.The newly release album titled Jetshock is themed around space-time and the universe.
