Bill Botes, a senior partner at Plug Music Agency is music manager, promoter and independent industry consultant with over 20 years experience in the South African and international music markets. He is a founding member as well as former board member of of the Music Managers Forum SA and represented the MMFSA on the South African Music Exports Council (Samex). As a consultant he is active in all fields of the industry including digital strategy, effective use of social media and also music publishing. As a promoter he has promoted or been involved in many successful international tours to South Africa by international artists including Randy Crawford (USA), Joe Sample (USA), Missy Higgins (AUS), Ben Lee (USA), NOFX (USA), Lagwagon (USA), The Exploited (UK), Shipwreck AD (USA), Gemma Ray (UK), No Turning Back (NL), Cooper (NL), Frenzal Rhomb (AUS), Gyroscope (AUS), Spermbirds (DE) and many more.
