Personal profile
Andréa has been in love with and performed music for as long as she can remember. She was a member of multiple choirs throughout her childhood both in church and school. A few of her favorite pieces during this time in her life include: Thy Will Be Done, Lamentations of Jeremiah, Salve Regina, and Miseré e Me. Andréa adores deep, dramatic music which explains why she was attracted to the heavy metal opera/ Symphonic Metal. “I’ve always loved music, and the moment I knew I wanted to sing for the rest of my life was when I heard Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera. I used to listen to it over and over again until I had the whole show memorized. I enjoy being creative in other avenues that are art related. I particularly love sculpt tombstones for Halloween since it is my favorite holiday and I can get rather elaborate with my creations. I love art, wine, anthropology, dance, yoga, and the recording studio.” Lately Andréa’s career has branched out as an extra in a commercial and a movie (Matt’s Chance coming December 2013). She has even co-directed for a documentary “Single in Seattle” which is still in production. Some of Andréa’s musical accomplishments include performing: The Laughing song from the Flitter Mouse, Phantom of the Opera (title song) as a solo, Music of the Night also from The Phantom of the Opera, Pie Jesu from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Requiem, The Trees on the Mountains from the American opera Susanna, O Mio Babbino Caro from Gianni Schicchi, Ach Ich Fuhls from The Magic Flute, The Black Swan from The Medium, Schubert’s Ave Maria, and her favorite the Sempre Libera from La Traviata.
